I just wanted clairifacation on whatI read in the FAQ.
If i understand corectly, 3 weeks after i put up a city hall there will be an election. At that time the person with the most votes becomes mayor.. is this correct?
Then every week after the mayor gets 750xp for being mayor.. is this correct?
There was something about elections every 3 weeks. Does this mean i have to re-run for Mayor every 3 weeks, or since I am the designated " mayor " or our group do I just stay Mayor?
If there are elections every 3 weeks, and the mayor has to re-run, will they get xp again for the votes even if they are from the same people that voted him in last time?
Thanks for your help.

Every 3 weeks when the winner is decided, the incumbent has to go back to the terminal and register for the next election. I usually go as soon as I get the victory email, and my citizens know to go vote within 2 weeks after they see i've re-registered.
Every election cycle the votes clear, so your citizens will have to vote for you in every election. No more ghost voting like in the old days
was nice, but i understand why it had to go

The incumbent mayor gets that 750xp per week whether it's a voting week or not.
At the end of the third week, all candidates receive 300xp per vote for them at the time the election ends. Votes can be changed at any time throughout the three week cycle, so it's only tallied there at the end. The winner of the election becomes the mayor and the cycle begins again.
If you don't register each election cycle, you will stay the mayor as long as no one else runs. You would only get the 750xp per week, though, since there would be no votes. If someone else decides to run, and you aren't on the ballot you don't stay the mayor.
