Hello, currently my PA is in the process of moving our city from Talus to Dantooine.

What im wondering is how the bank will work. I know when i moved the bank within the city limits that all the items stayed "stored" in the bank.

But since we will be changing planets and it will take us a week to re-place another bank (level 2) do i need to have my citizens empty out thier banks before the move, or does SOE have some magical database that allows players to access their bank from any player bank they become a member of??

Your citizens should be able to access any bank on the planet to access their storage.

They'll have to move the items to the new planet however, but they don't necessarily have to use the new city's bank. They could set up their safety deposit at a starport or outpost and still access their storage at the city once the bank is set up there.

The storage is done on a planetary basis, not a city basis.

Banks are tied to planets, not player cities. You could remove the bank altogether and they can continue to access the planet bank at any bank terminal anywhere on the planet per normal rules. You simply have a bank terminal for access, not THE bank.
