I started my city on the 9th of June, and would like to know when this election should end. I believe 3 weeks or however long it is, is way to long.
Would like to see it shortened if possible.
Thanks.

there's a reason why elections are 3 weeks.
back in the days when elections were 1 week and the incumbent got all votes by default, it was hard to replace the mayor when necessary (duh.) while the current voting system was implemented, people said that 1 week is too short for an election cycle because not everyone might be able to log in during that week to vote, and mayors who don't log in for a few days can find themselves removed from office.
that's how GreenMarine and I arrived at 3 weeks: 2 weeks to register and vote, and the last week is voting only to avoid last minute registering.

Starting the city on the 9th of June should put you on or about June 30th (depending on any server downtime) for your elections to end. There's no way to end the elections early.

that comment wasn't directed at you (or anyone), I was simply replying to your query and made a comment towards something that I thought was obvious. I'll remember not to help next time.
