Yeah, they gotta come up with a way for in-active citizen houses to warp, or be redeeded with everything in someones bank vault or something. My city lost about 12 people to inactive status. I figure maybe 1-2 more per week.

Plus us architects are never gonna be able to sell stuff.

What does this mean!?

Currently if a city hits 0 maintenance it takes what? 3-4 days to decay and pop? Are they going to lengthen it to weeks? months?

Weeks ok, I can wait through that. Months? Ouch

Or the 8 guys who decided to just up and quit the game without talking to anyone or resolving anything are no longer citizens and get a lot longer amount of "space taking up" time before we can do anything. As it stands it takes a small home a month to destroy itself with 0 maintenance I believe. This means that it will take not only the amount of maintenance in the house's treasurey but this much longer before it goes poof and your tumor gets removed. Doesn't effect the large cities with plenty of space unless a lot of people do this however small cities get screwed. Essentially it makes the 6 week inactivity thing that much worse.

The reason they're doing this is cuz they're banking on the Space Expansion to draw bunches of people back to the game, and to avoid some of the screams when some of these people realize they didn't pay enough maint into their house before they went inactive. They want people's houses to be there when they come back for the all-important SE.

In the mean time, those of us left in the game are stuck with thousands of abandoned buildings covering a ton of buildable land. And for those in cities, well they might not have a city to come back to.

What this means is they realize the idea of player controlled cities was a mistake, they realize that they /nerfed this profession and made so many mistakes with this profession theya re looking to gracefully bow out by sending the coup de tat.

What we term as a cancer has just turrned malignant.

The slowly decaying structures will now ensure your city is uesless and falls to complete ruin!
