I'm sorry but 100xp per week per citizen is radiculous. As much work as my wife is putting into CCV since she has had to become mayor, and all she is going to be able to do next time it updates is add a few mission terms. The city was at lvl 3 when the previous mayor yanked city hall out from under them. So technically the inyards of the city was there still. There should be something that says if a city hall is planted within so many hours of one being removed that the city boundaries will not change and citz should not have to do a mad 24-hour dash to make sure they walk into their houses to be a res. I understand that buildings and such are part of mayor xp, but she cant even get the local doc to plant a med center because CCV isn't lvl 3 anymore. When the previous mayor yanked City Hall, there were 38 citizens. She had recruited several of those herself. She worked hard to help out the last month she was there. I jsut started the game, but i've been watching her play her character since the beginning of january and only lacking 2 weeks of gameplay CCV'less, she has always tried to help CCV.Now she has to wait months before she has the xp to get it back to what it was because the previous mayor had mental breakdown on them?
There should be someway of telling when someone crosses city boundaries, enters structures included in the city, uses city vendors, trainers, mission terms, hospitals, cantinas, shuttleport, ect. The mayors of cities should be getting xp for all of these things. They are the ones with putting ideas into action. CCV citizens all have really good ideas, but no one would do anythign about them. Rose is trying to. So adding attraction features and trying to get things up and running again 100xp/cit/week ... she has done more than just recruit citizens.
Every other profession in this game gets xp for EVERYTHING they do in the rhelm of that proffession. Shouldn't politicians as well?? The profession may be a sub tree, but it costs the same sk/pts as any other sub tree. This is the only profession that you cant advance in just by spending more time with it. So at least give them more options for xp. the once a week thing is radiculous. Ppl are cheating the game and grinding out high tree master professions in days and some even in just hours. There really needs to be a way mayors can at least try to advance a city. I mean you already have the city rank lvl thing prevending certain structures until rank is met, so even if the mayor has master politician, they wont be able to plant anything until then. But at this rate, the city will be at lvl 4 before she can even get the banking terminal put back in. lol

I would agree with you that more needs to be given to Politicians for all that they have to do. On many occasions, Politicians actually pay all or most of the fees for running the city out of their own pocket, because people who make tons of credits on their own, are too cheap to pay a small tax to help out. Also, it takes almost twice as much APs to be a politician than it does to do any of the other professions. You need 500 APs just to become a novice politician, then another 620 to master it.
