What do you consider to be the best way to provide a form of checks and balances for citizens (henceforth described as the party of the first part:smileytongue frombad mayors or bad mayorial choices? These are the options that I can think of myselfso if you have a system that isn't on this list feel free to post it and I'll edit it in here but I feel I"m touching base on the most likely ideas. This is basically just to prevent the destruction of city hall but it could be used for other such things if so desired by us and/or the developers.

1. majority public vote that ends with the next election (minimum of 5 days before election ends to enact). All votes default to yes


2. same as 1 but all votes default to no or don't default


3. super majority (2/3rds) vote same as1 for the rest


4. same as 3 but all votes default to no or don't default


5. city council of 4 extra people(appointed by mayor) which requires a majority of assent.(A minimum of 3 appointees are required for the city destruction command to function meaning that this doesn't just allow the dictators to stay as they are now but with an extra option.)

Please just use the number and then respond rather then textually write out why you assent with one of these options without pointing out which one you agree with obviously.

This way people can't come in and overtake a city and still have the threat of destruction since the people who were unable to keep their representative still have a voice in city hall destruction.
