Thread: Pappi need another Favour from you

Hi Pappi,
You may or may not know but I have been keeping track on Valcyn Galaxies city citizen numbers for the past 4 months weekly. The thing is I would like to do it across ALL galaxies so we can work out where any city stands in order of most citizens and how they go up and down each week or month.
The problem is with only 8 characters I cant vist every galaxy and even if I could I wouldnt have the in game cash to travel to every city on every planet. Even if I had the cash and the characters it takes me 4 hours just to travel to all the cities on Valcyn and another 2 hours to make the list so to do it across all galaxies would be a never ending workload, by the time I finished one weeks list I would have to start the next.
What I would like to know is would the developers be interested in either e-mailing me the stats each week or month or placing it on the net somewhere and I can sort out the order and so on from there to make a website or add it to my current one.
Politicians in general dont have that competitive drive that pvp people do becausewe have nothing to point to or goal to achieve apart from within our own city. I think that if this kind of list was available across all galaxies mayors could feel some sort of pride in moveing up the list each week as their city grows.

you know, I don't know who to contact about this. I would suggest that you try to contact Pex. I would be happy to put a word in for you, or you can email/msg him this thread. I would post this on the corr forum if it helped, but I highly doubt it =/

Yeah I alreadyPM'ed the idea to Thunderheart but that was a week ago now and no reply. I figure they may get 1000 PM a day so chances are they dont read them unless they know the people or something. Just thought coming from a correspondant I may be more likely to get a reply to the idea since its not a in game bug fix or something patch related.

honestly, I don't think TH will have time with this. Pex is probably the one that can give you the most info on it, and I'll try to see if I can forward this... but at a more reasonable hour. it's 5am here, ya know

We are politicians you know our work is never done. That hour that I sleep each day is an hour where I cant throw out my net to catch random possible citizens wandering by city hall. No sleep for us only work, work and then more work. Such is the life of our public service.

would it help if the mayor of each city sent you their report? I would be willing to help you in anyway you felt that I could

Hi Barbercat,
Yeah I could set up a forum where mayors from all galaxies could simply post their numbers. Could also do it if I had representatives from all galaxies who could maybe just send me a top 10 list. Even with just a top 10 the list would be 200 cities long at least.
