Here's the situation:

- Player A is a covert Rebel and a member of a city.
- Player B is an overt Imperial and is in a guild-war with Player A.
- Player C is a covert Rebel who is not a part of either of the warring guilds, but is a member of the militia.

Player A and Player B begin to fight each other within the city limits. Does Player C now have the ability to attack Player B even though Player C is not grouped with Player A?

flat out, no. The militia don't get TEFs as a result of their militia-ness anymore. the only thing militia is good for is citybanning (whoopdie doo) and zoning rights.

Then this leaves open a bigger issue for me. How am I able to attack some Imperials that are invading my town even though I'm not overt and I'm not grouped with anyone.

If YOU have a TEF and they come in overt and start the fight, you can fight back. That's about all I can see.

Yeah it's lame I know, but militia cannot protect citizens of the city by nature.... they must be overt or grouped in which case the militia title is little more than a bonus of somekind in combat that takes place within the city.... and I'm not even sure if the bonus works

Sorry man

BTW my city is being harrassed by a local guild and are planning a forward outpost for the downtown city square so militia can hang around overt and keep the city square clear of overt Imps. Not a suggestion, just that's the solution we've found for dealing with overts and enable the militia to actually protect the city.
