I am the Incumbent Mayor of our city. I just won the current election. No one is running against me at the present time. Do I still need to register at the voting terminal? When I click on view standings it says no one is in the race. Just checking to make sure I dont mess up if someone can please let me know if I need to register or if I am mayor an no one is running against me can i just leave it alone?

Make note of what day and time that is exactly. Two weeks from that date and time nominations will close. There will be one more week of voting, but during that final week no one can register to run.
If you are the only one running. You win. After the first week you get 750 XP. Second week 750 XP. Third week 750 XP. If you want any more XP than that you will =have= to get votes, and you don't get any unless you run.
And one final very important thing... if, in the last ten seconds of week two, someone else registers to run and votes for themself... they are running, you are not, =you=lose=!!

due to some bugs in the system right now, I would highly suggest that you register, and get folks to vote for you if possible. that's why I have that stickied thread up top
