I used ctrl h to read about the city rules, etc. I read there that you only needed to be 1000m from the nearest player city so that the max radius of 500m doesn't overlap.

Was able to find a spot about 1.2 and 1.3 km from the nearest two cities, got my 10 citizens and attempted to set up my PAs. However, I was told that I was too close to those same two cities. Obviously the info in the holocron is incorrect, can anyone tell me what the real rule on this is? Couldn't find anything on search btw....

Much appreciated!

I do not shoot with my hand; he who shoots with his hand has forgotten the face of his father. I shoot with my mind. I do not kill with my gun; he who kills with his gun has forgotten the face of his father. I kill with my heart.

It seems to vary at least a little bit. I found a spot at 1050m away, couldn't place there. Moved about 100m further, and could place it. /shrug

Try at least 1000m from the outside to be safe. You may be close to another city not on the map as it is a village or outpost. You can use the map to check for mission terms, that should show all cities regardless if on map or not.
