My city just turned rank 2 and i barely got any exp for it only 3/4 into the first box. How do i acquire more exp ???

elections happen in a 3 week cycle
week 1: 750xp for being mayor
week 2: 750 xp for being mayor
week 3: 750xp for being mayor and 300xp per vote
remember after the 3rd week to reregister to run and have everyone vote for you

Get people to vote for you 
That's the only way to gain Politician xp other than the 750xp per week the incumbent mayor receives.

So the longer you are mayor the more EXP that you will get? Is there any other way? Like building in the city that you are mayor for? Of just for going up in rank and staying mayor? Thanks alot for the info

you only get xp from VOTES and the 750xp a week. this will only become more xp if you get more votes than a previous election cycle. you can place trainers gardens and anything else only mayors can place, but no xp for doing so, VOTES only

oww thanks alot. I just stared my own player city and was just wandering how to get some exp and put up some stuff that my people have been asking for Mission terminals and shuttle bays all the good stuff. Well thanks agin
