Hello, new mayor here. Just a quick question please, any help would be greatly appreciated. Our city's old mayor had departed, perminately I believe as I have not seen him in months. I would like to do some decorations, mabey even move city hall. As he did not /transferstructure to me, the only option I get is to destroy the structure. Will this destroy my city as well? We are an industrious and well placed city with nice placing of banks, cantinas ect, but that was done at the OLD mayors political level (master I believe). As I am only 0210 (one week shy of +750xp for 0310), will destroying the city hall to either move it or place my own in its place keep my citys current structures and city level? Or would it help if I placed a new city hall? Right now the old one is just taking up space, it is in a bad part of town (fung'sui is off) and I can not decorate or use it for storage. Any advice is helpfull.

when you destroy the city hall, it destroys the city. if you place a new one after that it'll be considered a new city and will have to start over. if you are the new mayor but cannot access items inside the city hall, you should send in a CSR ticket and ask them for help.

You said you werent able to see anything more than "destroy the city hall" on the building terminal. That is what we all see. There are no other options. By not being able to access stuff in the city hall, I assume she is refering to objects contained in the building....those you should have access to, and I imagine you do already.

As for pulling it up. Bad idea. Doing so will pull the bank, shuttle, everything related to the city. When you drop the new one, you start at lvl 1 again, no bank..your skills dont allow you to, no shuttle..have to be lvl4 to do that if I remember correctly, and no you have to cycle back up to it so minimum of 3 weeks per cycle and 4 lvls so 12 weeks or 3 months before you would have a shutttle back. You cant drop lights or gardens...your skills dont allow it yet. You lose city specialization...you dont have the skills..this will force those that need that specialization out of town as it will be a very long time before you have the skills to put a good specialization back in place.
