This is a current thread in the Core Systems: City and Housing forum. I was wondering if you really can create a character and have it set down a house and declare as a citizen and then delete and recycle can actually be done.

I'm not sure ... could work ... although I have heard that items like houses you have should delete themselves if you actually delete your character too ... at least that's also what happens if a mayor delets his character ... the whole city with all civic structures is deleted.

But devs have said there should be a new character purge coming that will delete everything from characters that haven't come online to a server in a set amount of time. But this was announced over a month ago ... and it was supposed to be coming already about half a year ago ... and would wait until somebody has not logged in for 6 months ... and would have started counting only since implementation ... let's see if when and how the devs will finally release this purge.

There is a way to do it.....it's just not supposed to work that way. It's an exploit of the system. If they ever get around to that fabled character purge, though, there are going to be some people long overdue for a rude wake-up call.
