Just downloaded the new patch and logged into town then turned on my overhead map....
I finally feel like I'm in a city, I can see off to homes in the distance, they are shown on the overhead, at long last my city has become a true Metropolis! Yes there are many things that would add to that feel and be great for the urban appeal but hey, at least we're heading in that direction. This just made my day.

Yes, the increased load distance of player buildings is one of my favourite things about the patch too. Finally I can stand on the steps of city hall and gaze up the high street. I can stand on a hill just outside the city and see this sprawling metropolis. Excellent stuff!

I lucked out with the layout and we've got a bit of a hill inside the town. That is fairly dramatic view there. As I cast my gaze across all that I can see truly the role of mayor over this land my innards fill with warm fuzziness.

till today i never thought that our city is sooo huge
love the increase of playerhousing spawn =)
and also i never realized that there are standing some houses at the other site of my favorite fishing lake ;D

I logged in earlier tonight because of this post and, I gotta say, it was cool standing on my porch atop the hill overlooking Vesania, Corellia(Chilastra) and being able to see all the buildings... 
Itmade me glad I picked that hilltop spot for my house

I'm still standing in the middle of our market place ... an awe ... a spot where you where glad if you could see the first row of small houses ... and now I'm looking over the rooftops of almost every house in our city
I'm almost so overwhelmed to say "Best change for player cities this far" ... wow

I have to admit this is a great change, and certainly makes the player cities feel more like cities. Its nice for driving now to as I can see houses farther away and actually drive around them instead of through them.

I absolutely *love* the improves distances. Like you said, it feels like i'm in an actual city, filled with structures. I went all the way up on a mountain and was able to see most of the city with clarity. A very good addition

I didn't even know they did that until I pulled up the overhead to check the local vendors. Makes that looking down on my city from the hill top during the morning sunrise all the much better.

I have to say this was a really awesome touch. Its great to come out off the shuttle and see a sprawling city before you. I never realised how large my own city was until the patch came out and I got a chance to just see how everything lines up and is placed. It really helps make the area seem like a city.

Yes, one of those lovely touches that makes playing so much more fun.
Now if they will only get around the character purge so that my city can grow!
