Ok, please don't flame me, and sorry if this has been brought up tons of times.. but we are discussing citywarn in flurry forums right now and think it should come back into play is it an option? or is it shot down for good, how do mayors feel about city warn?

hon, people already did. a minority of folks used /citywarn liberally while it was in game, and someone even managed to /citywarn a CSR. it got really bad, so they took it out.
yes, it's unfortunate. go blame the idiots that ruined it for us. in the mean time, the devs don't have any plans on reintroducing anything similar any time soon... no amount of petitions will change this. I would suggest listing an alternative form of /citywarn in your top 5 request instead, since they already said the old one won't come back.

ok pappi, they nerfed /bo trans to a certain distance from the ticket collector instead of basically anywhere in the shuttle/starport. since thats posible could ya ask them why cant they make a /citywarn style command break including any tef the command might cause within a certain radius for the poi locations including inside any poi caves.that way it couldnt be used to control locations. also change the timers to 60 seconds before a tef on ground and 2 minutes for loading in to deal with a reasonable amount of lag loading. could also make the kills off the book for pvp rankings so load camping just to boost a pvp rank would be elimanated. i think those 3 changes should remove the vast majority of the posibility of griefing with citywarn yet still give a something with teeth to police our towns with when we need to

Perhaps the person that gets citywarned gets muted ( in city limits)and cant attack similar to what happens in a battlefield.
- Or gets teleported to the edge of town and cant get back in for a day.
The problem the devs seem to have with it is "forcing" pvp on someone. But if you *take* away their ability to attack you, grief you or even spam you then there is little point in them sticking around.
Out of sight out of mind - ahhhhh! I can feel the peace already.
Oh! I forgot to add to the original poster - it gets brought up here like every other day , so you players on Flurry are certainly not alone in that regard.

This seems like a good idea, or more on the right track.... it wouldn't force people into pvp and it also would give us a way to better police our cities.....

Ya it kinda makes milita useless might as well call em city council or something. You think if the issue was with A CSR getting /citywarned than they would of fixed the CSR!

Anyone else want citywarn back? I'm tired of people coming into our city and griefing and harrasing players. Currently the militia can only ban but thats not really effective.

Amen.
And the fact that they can still shuttle in after they are banned is messed up.
That was supposed to be fixed a couple hotfixes/patches ago...but of course it wasnt.
