Greetings,
Before Player Cities I grinded AP faction, I found out the Politician Trainer was at Bestine Capitol Building. On the night of the patch I logged just where it would appear. Being Australian the Server shutdown happened around 9pm for me
I was waiting and waiting, Downloaded the patch and BAM Became Politician, maybe the First Politician on Flurry. I was the Mayor on Talon Morte for Tricon Galactic (C-III). Then I left that guild soon after to form my own, Solidarity (SOLID) and our own city on Rori called Dzundo.
Our city was going great, the largest Imperial City on Rori! Until they brought in if someone had not logged on for like 2 months they would be taken off the Citizenship. I believe this was in Holiday's time. And Bam we lost the Shuttleport. We decided to Move to Dantooine but it didn't work out
So I kept the Tree until May 2004 when I needed the Skill points. Well I'am back with a new city and a new guild.
Citadel Imperium on Talus. And Minister for Urban Affairs in Bellicose Imperius (B-Imp). Our city just started yesterday and is cliumbing quite well, VERY proud!
So I guess I will be reading these forums a bit more nowadays

Could someone bring me up to speed. I read the FAQ just want to verfify a few things:
1. I need to Register to get the Vote XP which I will get every 3 weeks? I get 750 XP every week aswell?
2. Does city rank go up every week like before or is it the same like Elections, every 3 weeks? So If I was an Outpost and got 20 Citizens would it take me One week or the Three weeks?
Thanks guys

Its not that you "have" to....you would be crazy not to. Their are certain bugs that require the mayor to run each election to prevent a loss of the city. Thats why the corro posted a thread instructing everyone to run each cycle. It's not just about the XP...even Master Polos should be running each week to prevent this problem from happening.

My city moves between lvl4 and 5 alot. We have 80 to 90 citizens in town on average. I have only noticed a change taking effect when the actual election occures. This leads me to believe it is every 3 weeks to advance.
Thanks guys

It changes with each City maintenance period if you meet the requirments for an upgrade. I am mayor of Fort Valhala on Naboo, Tarquinas server, and we went from a level 2 city to a level 4 in 2 weeks. It was great, got alot of xp on the next vote cycle
