I mean, cmon, you don't get a popup when a tusken raider decides to aggro you when you enter the tusken fort. And when has a enemy PC ever spawned 5 meters infront of you, like so many NPCS do?

The BUG the devs made that made players clone in the spot they died if you chose closest when citybanned is being fixed. This will take care of the death loop problem whiners are up in arms about with size 17 bold red text.

BTW which is easily avoided by making use of that great store clone data option made available to you are in every city with a spaceport. Theres no excuse except lazyness/forgetfulness to not be cloned somewhere else on a planet.

Also IF you do get in the death loop your TEF does NOT remain after deathblow. So you get 30 seconds to get out of the city upon clone. /burstrun anyone ?

So what the devs put in a TRIPLE fix for this bug.

Fix 1, closest facility is only real citys not player cities.

Problem solved, carebears rejoice.

Fix 2, 2 min warn timer with a popup notification, plenty of time to get out of a city. But the only way to get warned would be to go to the city in the first place. You not gonna clone there on accident anymore.

Fix 3, no city warn.

------------

So fix 1 and 3 will go into place (obviously fix3 removes fix2). The only people that benfit from fix #3 over fix#2, is the people that want to grief the owners of the city. Again hiding behind the fact that as long as theres no red dots on radar, they are safe.

-----------

If this fix goes through, i petition for ALL npcs to give me a 2 minute popup warning before attacking me. This way we can forget this whole combat thing and get back to chatting in the cantina.

Give me a reason to log in. I dare ya.
