Our City now has a shuttleport and a bank, along with some other civic structures, and is now over 220k per week. With 90 citizens Income Tax only takes care of 180k. I have to now set up Property tax but I have no idea how much of a % I should institute becuase the Tax window in the city hall terminal has no information at all about it. Right now I am randomly guessing at how much I should tax to come up with another 50k and that is the wrong answer. The Tax Information window needs to be redone with more info on it. I realize it might take a lot for the window to refresh during the week if you change the taxes, I would be happy if it just told you how much each specific tax raised for the LAST week. Shuttlefee included.

Also they should really raise the income tax max to at least 3k. 3k wont break anyone's bank account. It seems the only reason to put in max tax limits is to deter mad crazy Mayors but 2k is just way too low when you start thinking that your Metropolis might be costing 550k per week. I might not be able to tax enough to keep up with the maintainence when our city is fully grown.

I agree. I have people asking me how much revenue was brought in from the last week's taxes, and I can't answer them as much as I would dearly love to.
