Thread: /Citywarn It doesnt need to be removed but it does need to be changed
Ya no kidding I got warned within like 30 seconds of being in a City because of my Tags... anyways I only had 30 seconds and I am Expert Ranger and I could still not run from the city to the outskirts within 30 seconds... I would be for removing /Citywarn altogehter but then no point of militia... however how it is it needs to be extended and possibly changed in some other ways so that people cannot use it for griefing..
So if you are Imp don't go to insurgo on Naboo on Kettemoor as half their militia is abunch of pricks who are so insecure the won't let you come buy anything or look
if you are covert, deal. You're part of the GCW. /warn is no different from walking past a scanner, effectively.
I would happily accept either of these changes to warn if /ban was made to work effectively.

1. Stop the lawyer using words like consenual pvp.
2. Make the citywarn a city eject. If they come back in 24hr hours then they have chosen to do so and it is then consenual.
3. Why are you on a faction if you dont expect to fight.
The 2nd change that should be made is that it takes 2 warns to make a TEF appear, the purpose of this is that it is actually a warn. If a player is doing something against your city rules they get a first warning, then there is a timer of id say 1 minute before you can do the 2nd warning. This is so that they know clearly they are doing something wrong and they know if they continue in doing what they are doing they will be warned again and become attackable. This also gives the people to talk out the solution instead of no time. If there is just 1 warn and a timer long enough just to get out of the city then there is no way for the problem to be resolved, the player that is warned will just have to run out of the city if they dont want to be attack. But if you have 2 warns, first you acknowlage a problem, then try to resolve it. Second it gives them time to get out of the city before being attacked.
Seriously, if you are complaining about getting /citywarn, then you obviously have no idea what can happen after its removed. "But it's griefing", so are about 100 other exploits that the dev's seem to turn their heads on. Non-consentual pvp? Its a FREAKIN CIVIL WAR, join it or shut up. You cry babies are ruining the game week by week.
I swear there are so many other things that the whiny kids can worry about, /citywarn should not be one of them. If you are in a city and you are not wanted in that city, there should be some means to forcibly remove you. The Dev's are retarded for even thinking of changing this one little thing. And the whole POI thing is crap. If you want to get somewhere there is always a way in, stop complaining. Honestly you cry babies need to play online scrabble or something, leave the real gaming to people who know how handle any situation.
