Thread: I want to live at my hospital but i lose citizenship

Today I tried to declare my residence at the hospital i just laid down and it worked just fine, except that i instantly lost citizenship in the town. Apparantly it requires me to live at a house instead of at my hospital so if i want to vote and be counted on the rolls i have to also have a house and burn another of my lots.


I'd like to be able to declare residency at my hospital rather then be forced to have another building in the city limits.

You can declare residency in a hospital. Our doctor lives in his.

I know, but when i did, my mayor got a message saying that i was removed from the city as a citizen. Is this a bug? I'd like to be able to live in my hospital.

it is not a bug... it will send him a message saying "a citizen has left the city"... and a short time later "a citizen has joined the city"... this can be forced on the rare occasions you do not become a member again after say 5 minutes has passed by re-declaring residence in the hospital... it will say you must wait 23 hours and some minutes... at that point the mayor should receive a registration in the next 5 minutes...
