Ok, I'm having a brain cramp

If your city falls below the level 4 city status (<55 citizens), what happens to your shuttleport? Do you simply lose the ability to use it or does it go poof.

I knew the answer at some point, but I've since forgotten. Thanks

YOu lose the ability to use it and the mayor gets a notification email. If you don't have enough citizens to re-enable it by next update, it goes poof.
