I certainly recognize the griefing potential with /citywarn, though I'm not an advocate of its removal. However, if the argument for removal is the prevention of nonconsentual PVP, then please read this thread.

it's not ever POI cities, it's players that don't understand that them getting wasted off a citywarn didn't have to be. GO AROUND THE CITY.

try reading the post at the link...it IS payer cities that encompass POI's that are able to grief other players that don't want to "go around" the POI. /citywarn is just one of several possible griefs. Specifically, having a shuttleport with a CFS located near it within the city with a group of city campers waiting to loadkill any unsuspecting transit customers. Run? Well in this case, houses surrounded the shuttleport and the only way to get out was past hostiles

New method to control POIs:

Build Naboo medium houses edge-to-edge around the POI. This forms an impassable wall.

Place a covert scanner inside these walls.

Build row upon row of minefields leading up to the "entrance." Now you can't enter the POI unless you are the correct faction.

Exactly or heck just put up a full ring of houses. The warn command is not the problem grefers are.
