Seriously though, whenever someone's structure is encompassed by the city limits they receive an email welcoming them to the city and advising them to check the city terminal for taxation information. This is all good...

except that the letter claims to be written by the mayor

Of course under the sender box it states "city hall" as the sender, but at the end of the email my name is signed on the document suggesting that i wrote it.

A lot of people get defensive, because they think that I'm suggesting that i will tax their structures (especially people who don't wish to become citizens :smileyhappy which I personally am not...

As a solution I wish mayors would receive the option to set a welcome message that would be sent instead of this email. Mayors could input the welcome message at the city terminal or in their personal. Whenever someone's structure enters city limits, they will receive the mayor's welcome message as an email...instead of the default one.

Well .. now that you mention this .. yes .. it really might be better to either let this mail be much more unpersonal to clearly show it is a system message rather than an expression by the running mayor ... or to be able to include such a remark

But then again I only had one person reply negatively to this email thinking it was from me and he only had a factory in city boudries after it grew.
