1. Get 500 App xp points and become novice politician
2. Either run for mayor or place a city hall and become the incumbent mayor
3. Get citizens to move in and declare residence on houses in city limits
4. Wait a week. You get 100xp per vote you get. If citizens don't vote, you'll get xp from their votes automatically.
5. Read the manual =P

Read the manual? If I recall correctly, the Politician Skill set was not out yet when the manual ot strat guide went to press. And it is not in the Advanced City Guide released by the Devs. So give the guy a break, it was a legit question. ![]()

How is the Politician XP broken down?
is it all votes or do other factors apply?
Can it only be obtained once per week?

It's 100xp per vote per week. So if you have 7 votes thats 700 xp for that week, etc.
You only get your xp once a week, at election time.

it's dirty, underhanded but you can twink newbies from mos eisily and give them houses and a car and some cash and buy them into more votes.

Hi, I have to disagree with calling it "Dirty" to help new ppl just starting out, this method (imho) helps noob's get started and not worry about a few things (Home, Bike, Armor, Star Destroyer, and Death Star, sorry getting goofy here).

Yep that's how you get xp - you get 100 xp for each vote you recieve (even if you are not the mayor - which nobody else pointed out)
