I feel that as mayors we are entitled to wear our city name abriviated and our status as mayor. Its little things like this that would mean something to myself and im sure to all the other mayors out there. Im sure a time cap could be imposed or, when master politician is made it could be shown. Please sign this petition to show your support for us to be able to show our colors!!!

Please don't start this again. This "petition" has been around for a long time, and starting another thread with the same petition is redundant. We all want something of the sort, Pappi knows we want it, and that's about where it should end.

Hey Lordoricle! You can bump the thread of mine on the third page. I've given up hope, though. Unfortunetly, we politicians won't be getting any love until after JTL.

Well Laeren, my appologies for beating a dead horse, however i know full well how long this has been around and raising the issue one more time wont hurt the issue. Im just trying to keep the issue fresh, im sure Pappi doesnt mind, surely not as much as you seem to.

Well said, Lordoricle. We are only looking for the title "Mayor". Not "Mayor of xxxxxxx". Laeren, please allow the moderators to do thier job. If they have problem with the subject, they'll delete it. If if offends you so much, report it.

Only problem with this is that all titles are currently connected to your skill level. Any politician can be mayor. Same with any player can be a guild leader yet the Leader does not get a special title to stand out.

Sorry, just doing the job Pappi asked me to do while she's away. She's not hot on petitions, and she's not hot on rehashing old issues with petitions. So, of course I said something.

he's right... if you guys have time to start petitions, please go to your /bug feature and submit bug reports for current politician bugs instead. I would love to look into "new and cool" stuff AFTER I get those bugs fixed.

with all due respect Papi as the queen of the politician forums... I submit all bugs as they come in my city, I have plenty of time to speak on issues that currently are on my mind, is this not what the forums are for? I will always write threads as the issues come to mind. As for how you feel about petitions really does not consearn me, it is not my job to sort out what Papi is "hot" with as Laeren put it, it is my job to write on the issues effecting my city and what i feel about this profession. I do not write posts to keep the politician elite on these forums happy, I write what in my oppinion needs to be said.
I hold Papi in the highest regard, she leads us correctly and writes beautifuly, I am in no way challenging her authority on this forum, I only wish to execute my right to place a thread that i feel needs to be discussed period, please respect that.

Vinjar

Actually, my biggest concern is having a title. The sales tax bug, the ability to leave office, etc, do not concern me. Everything I would like to see changed in our profession is additional content. That being said, there were more people than just myself signing the 'petition' that really isn't a petition. It is our voices being heard. Until a moderator has a probelm with the subject and deletes the post, outspoken people like me will continue topost.

Wow laeren, i already know your opinion on the topic.... Understood, but its not dead to me and alot of politicians out there. I really dont understand your problem...... I am only speaking out on something that most of us want. If this is something you would like to see beat the dead horse with me.
