Thread: If i drop politician, will my city be deleted?

If i drop politician will my city vanish? I am tryng to pass the city on to another person running for mayor. The problem is, with those who dont vote votes automatically going to me, i will never be able to drop politician. I have sent out city wide emails asking them to vote for the new person, but i am getting very little response, not enough to get me out and the new person in. I wanna drop politician, but i want the city to continue on. If i drop novice politician before the city update, and there is another person on the ballot with votes, will he become the new mayor. Or will i screw everyone by making the city disappear. I need facts about this issue, not rumors. Please help me out!

I'm not even going to mention the faq at the top of the forum since it seems to be a wast of time and no one seems to read them anyway....
So to answer you question no your city won't vanish if you drop politician you just won't be able to do anything.
You will stay mayor however until someone managed to get more votes than you, and yes each week the votes reset so everyone has to vote again...

The city wil not vanish, you just are not able to add anything, you need the politician skills to do that. This will also NOT make the other person mayor. We do not have a fuction to resign. You need to be voted out, destroy city hall or delete your avatar

.I too am going thru this problem. Been 6 weeks now, and I have left he city and guild, am the opposite faction and still cannot be voted out.

I had to pay like 6 people to move in for the vote to get out city from an offline mayor

you wont really be able to do anything but if you wanna quit then ill be your mayor cause i need someone anyway. my name in the game professsional abric and my screen name for aim and aol is rubytoohotty.

I recommend you:
- determine the actual 'real' number of 'active' citizens in your city
- tip bank 1 credit to all members in your city (helps to see who is actualy around and active)
- add all the names of the citizens from the citizenship list into your friends list i Ctrl+P
- contact every active citizen you have and get them to vote for the new mayor
- everyone assistin recruiting the difference you need
- remove zoning or add more players to militia
