heyas guys,

after a very eventful few months, i'm relenquishing my title as novice poli. i'm leaving SS and all of the many friends i've made behind.

in my heart of hearts, i knew i was doing a wonderful job as mayor, keeping them posted on the bugs in the cities, keeping accurate records of the treasury and most of all adding things to the city trying to make it look like a city and not downtown anywhere.

but to no avail, i was slammed, called lazy and all sorts of other names due to my lack of being able to get our city a shuttleport due to planetary caps, and having another account that i preferred to play in fun and with my poli account run a successful BE busines and resource business. i guess we just aren't allowed to have fun and enjoy the game. we are suppose to be only there for the citz/guild our fun time should be making sure they get everythign they want.

hehe when you start paying for my game then i'll be happy to oblige you. is my response to the above.

i'm leaving i'm done, i just won't sit and let anyone dictate to me how my yearly subscriptions should be spent as i pay for 2 on the same server.

new poli's...please don't think poli is a light job. you really must dedicate some ... a lot of time to you. especially when your treasury doesn't balance out and you're freaking cause your taxes are screwed up. don't come here yelling at Pappi to fix it, she does the best she can.

Sorry to hear you're leaving, and sorry to hear it's driving you away from Starsider too. That sucks - people can be really sucky when it comes to something THEY feel they have a "right" to get snotty about.

Well im so sorry to hear that another politician is leaving... i suggest you dont all out quit, try playing casualy for a while freelance, im sure you will gather your intrest again.

However i know the feeling, sometimes the politician profession is a scapegoat for all of the problems a city may face, when alot of times its the citizens that could make the city a better place if they put the energy and time as mayors do.

Farewell, perhaps a run on tempest would do the trick, /wink...
