Thread: Cloner in your town is not the closest option bug. Is there a fix?

The cloner in our town, IHQ, Naboo (Valcyn)
Does not come up as the closest option when we die nearby, instead we are bumped to Dark Corners, a city that is over 2km away.
I tried re-deeding it and replacing but it didnt help out the problem.
Is there a fix?

I die repeatedly on the steps of our cloner in zerg rushes against imps and it always give the closest one as Tor Vella. (a player city that is in the northern suburbs of Coronet) It is a partial bug and it also isn't.
You are no longer supposed to get a player city as the closest cloner due to the griefing that has occured (covert scanners and turrets etc. on top of the militia banning to keep you out of the cloner so faster deaths) so you should only get an NPC town as closest cloner. The times I've seen player cities come up as closest they tend to be the original ones before the december patch so that probably has something to do with it.

Submit a bug report. Having the same problem and I have submitted 3 regarding it. I can die right outside the Commune's borders and the closest facility is listed as being Mos Espa but our city is inbetween me and Mos Espa. No respect for our cloning facility.

ok this may be a dumb question but why clone at the closest cloner. Why don't you just set your clone data to you city before you go hunting, its not like anyone who isnt a total noob can't afford 1000 credits....I mean I don't clone that often either, well pretty much never, but if you know about the bug why not pay the 1000 credits until its fixed?
