Ya know.. this weekly xp sorta sucks.
it would be nice to have politician mission terminals that would send the person to settle a domestic squable.
im sure other people can come up with better ideas for missions or what not... but its just an idea.

Maybe allow trade agreements between cities. That would add +3% to mission terminal payouts.

now theres an idea. work out deals with other player cities to help increase exp.
the more trade agreements you have with other cities/mayors, the more exp you get?
another thing they could impliment is babies.
A politician isnt a politician if there isnt a baby to kiss. heh.

Once again this is just a week... not a month... not a year... not a decade.... lol... we don't need Master Politicians within 2 weeks kind of garbage like the already ridiculously easy other professions (other than an Artisan Profession)...

I agree about the time it takes for Master Politician not being a problem, but I thought I'd point out that the crafting professions were the first ones mastered. PA halls were going up the third day of the server and Master Weaponsmiths were around within a week.
No real point, just bored at work ![]()

It will be a problem however. How is someone who starts the game in two months from now going to be a politician? Can't get xp without being mayor, and no one is going to elect a mayor if doing so deletes all existing city structures. There should be some way other than simply votes to earn politician xp. Otherwise you've essentially nailed down the profession to those who got it this patch, or this month, or this year or what have you.

Getting a lower skill Politician doesn't delete city structures, it just prevents you from building more.
This isn't the mainreason why no one will ever elect a new mayor.

Nothing Like Job Security, crud!. I was hoping some soul would be able to take over in a few months, but if the city structures go when I go. ![]()
Not like I stand a chance to be Jedi Mayor. ![]()
