Ok I just put some very valuable items inmy city bank account. Can a bank be destroyed and if so what happensto everyone's stuff?

I believe you could just go to any bank on your planet and retrieve your items just as you have alwaysbeen able to do... I'm not 100% certain on that but I can't see why a bank disappearing will keep you from using any of the other banks on the planet... just my thoughts..

The in-game documentation (note: the word "Holocron" is used in too many different places in this game, no offense to Holo intended) says that this is the case. I haven't tested.

I can see why people would worry about this, because it hasn't been planet wide always. For a long time, banks used to be city specific. A bit before they patched in player cities, this suddenly changed to planet wide. Presumably to stop the issue of player city banks disappearing. They didn't add it to the patch notes though for some reason, so people used to the old system might still be thinking it is one city only. The only way to find out about the change was to notice the safety deposit option when using a bank you hadn't joined.

We had a factional base with a bank and it got destroyed with no complaints of any lost items (ended up in the closest city bank) so I assume it’s the same here.
