Personally the residence bug is to my advantage keeping my city at Metropolis size but the old houses are kinda annoying. I'm mainly wondering if I need to get out there and recruit some fresh blood to keep the city a metropolis or if I will need to worry about this later at some point. I just need to get working if I am going to replace everyone that would be removed if it was fixed.

So many of us seem to find the old buidings (at least) in the way of current and future expansion. Looking over the citizen list today I was just thinking to myself 'wow, it's been so long since they have played...' and while it's nice to look at that list and remember good old times with good old friends... that's not what it is supposed to be.

After my experiences as a merchant I know what it is like to be a class that gets very little love from the devs and it seems politician is sorta left with a mild neglect as well. At least they gave us our skill points back, but are there any plans for future love?

Yes... there definately needs to be a polotician skill that condemns houses from players that have not logged in for some time. Maybe after being *condemned* for say... two weeks or something, the house and all contents are placed back into the owners inventory or bank. It is very annoying to have a space in your city that you cannot fill due to a single house owned by a non-existant player that is interfering with the placement of new structures. Allowing the structure to draw from the players bank account is now just stupid... it prolongs the problem.
