250 items seems to be the general concensus. And congrats on your city and good luck in the future.

Well,
After lots of hard work, and lots of credits spent, and a great deal of planning, I have finally started my first city in the game. New Kabala on Lok is now a reality. Last night at roughly 10:30 pm I placed the town hall. We had a brief celebration with fireworks. We then went into our newly formed town hall to go over some decorating ideas, as well as some city policies.
I cannot describe just how excited I was last night when i realized that we were all set, and ready to place the city. we were going to place it over the weekend, only to find that we were too close to another city, and needed to uproot EVERYONE's homes, and move them. But all of the hard work paid off. We now have a city.
I do have one question maybe someone can help me wtih. How many items can City Hall hold? we have a ton of great ideas for decorating, but some of them might require quite a bit of storage space.

i forgot to keep count of how much furnitre i placed in the city hall so far. i spent 4-5 hours last night with 2 master architect friends of mine decorating city hall. it is reallly turning out great. this is by far the best looking home decorating i have done so far to date.
i got some droid chasis custom made for the in City Archive room. There is a City Records Keeper (a protocol droid) and a Records Retrieval System (surgical droid chasis, because of their arm movements). I have lined the archieve with bookshelves and added lots of little reading chairs/tables.
the other small room is a crafting room. all the private crafting stations are there, along with lots of other stuff. this room is by far my best work ever.
the large room is for holding town council meetings. chairs for everyone, lots of plants, benches, 2 Air Conditioning Units, and a fountain.
if anyone is interested in checking it out, send Oreet an in-game email on Lowca and i can send you the waypoint to city hall. so far i do not have any politician XP, so i cannot register the city yet. either email me, or wait until it wins Garva's Home Show contest when I complete it and submit screens to him.
by the way, gotta love the Architects. it's so great having a master architect there with you when decorating. you can get him/her to name things custom. like a cafe table in the crafting room is titled "Work Bench" and since the architect is in my guild and city, he did all of it for pretty cheap.

Be a good idea - have everyone post pics of their City Hall decorations.
I've seen a few very well done halls, and a few that are ok (can't stand it when people put fountains in the middle of halls - but thats just me
). So it'd be interesting to see what some in here have done.

i need help, our city is mostly guild members, one of the members was removed from the guild due to some conflict. i was wondering is there a way to revoke his citizenship and ban him from the city?

Ask politely and try to put an end to an unfortunate situation... Otherwise, you can cityban him but as far as I know not forcebly remove the person from the citizen list.

You cannot /cityban a citizen.
Try to talk it out or bribery,is about all you can do.
