Thread: Manual changing of Mayors?

I was recently a victim of the'unregistered mayor wins!' bug and am trying to quit the game. The response I got to the CSR ticket where I asked them to remove me as mayor and give it to the one who had the votes and wants it was that they are working on a fix.
Frankly, I don't care if they ever get a fix. *.
(Obelix?)
Are they able to manually transfer mayoral flags? Do I have no choice but to wait for the next election?
Should I put in another ticket asking for this change to take place or are they all going to result in the same frustration?

Try another ticket requesting the transfer. The problem is that Customer Service has a tendency to send out canned responses in relation to key words. If you get the same response, please PM me with all the information you included in your CS tickets (city name, server, waypoint, incumbent mayor, election results, etc.) and who responded to your tickets and/or ticket number(if you know).

Well, I got a non-canned response.
They say it is designed so that a CSR cannot manually change mayors. They have no choice but to wait 3 weeks for the next election and we just hope the patch to the initial problem is solved by then.
