In general terms, it'd be a good idea to let the mayors "entertain" their citizens. I can think of scenarios like:
- Imperial troops land near the city and intensively look for rebels inside it, as well as sliced items, etc. Players have to take care of things and it could end in a battle inside the city :-)
- Hurton plague. The city is rushed by hurtons, which would need to be killed.
- Etc.
Anyway, I'd rather have the chance to improve the quality of the weddings we hold in the City Hall beyond fireworks and a nice dress for the fiance. And, above all, I would like to see some more politics in the city, and among cities. For instance, in the same line as you set:
- Farmers from a near city are angry with the harvesters and extractors from citizens of your city and are beginning to get very upset, so that something that is just a concentration of disappointed beings, could end very bad if the Militia does not handle it correctly.
Good idea anyway. :-)

I agree. Concerning the politics..if you cant get it, make it by yourself. Currently my two cities are forming city partnerships with other roleplay cities, placing embassies and coordinating planet-overcoming events.
Its a lot of things to think of, but its fun !

You could contact Tiggs...I saw this in another thread here. Tiggs can set up live events in your player city, I think someone recently had a Tusken Invasion.Just contact him using the PMs here on the site is how you would go about i doing this.
