I thought I'd share this with you guys here too. I recently made an anniversary video for the upcoming 1 year anniversary, commemorating and remembering the first cities to be placed on Starsider, those still existing and those that have fallen.

Stupid questions to your eyes, probably, but how did you do those movies? I guess I am not aware of some shortcuts and game options you know :-P

I used a program called FRAPS (fraps.com). This program records your onscreen images into a file. I then visited each of the cities and either stood still or ran through them while this program was running, to generate the images you see.
Then, after those were all done, I went into Windows Movie Maker and edited the video clips togther into the movie you saw. Windows Movie Maker comes free with Windows XP, and is pretty easy to use once you have the video clips to put together.

Absolutly Amazing!!!
I am a new Mayor on Shadowfire and you just instilled a new fire to make my city even better than people can dream! Some people really take this game and make it worth playing!
