I do not mean to step on Pappi's shoes, but I wanted to present an idea I had about player cities.
For some player cities, particularly ones near NPC cities, /cityban really is not effective at keeping unwanted visitors out of one's city or from keeping visitors from becoming unwanted in the first place for that matter.
I think it would be good if our player cities could form "alliances" (maybe a better term could be used). One of the basic things I have in mind for this alliance is that, if city A and city B have an alliance, any player /citybanned in city A will be automatically /citybanned in city B and vice versa. This would make players more respectful of the laws we choose to impose in our player cities. I am sure many other things could be added to the notion of player city alliances too.
One thing I think would be important for the /cityban idea is that if cities A and B have an alliance and a player is /citybanned from one of them, the other city'smilitia/mayor could /citypardon the person from only their city and not both cities.
I know some player cities already have agreements of this nature, but I think it would help alot if it was built into the game.

I would LOVE the frequency of use counters on the trainers! Though I do send out very regular emails to citizens to know what their needs are. But that doesn't address those that aren't citizens who are using the trainers

Sounds great, I have an alliance with 2 surrounding towns (we're all reb and thanks to the guild(s) in my town we're the heart of PvP due to having a base complex) and the imps have the only 2 visible towns along the northern part of Corellia so they banded together as well. It would be interesting, and have a lot of different abilities that could be added on to,for the game to recognize alliances of this sort and give out new possibilities. Reduced shuttleport fees for one, maybe allow for the militia to stretch across all the allied borders? Tons of things one could imagine with enough free time and boredom
Where you thinking of having these planetary based? It would seem the most realistic and prevent people from simply dividing cities up along factional lines especially if they don't want the massive ban list of a PvP town to impact their crafters. Also what kind of cap would there be so planets don't just have 1 or 2 ally circleswith themselves to exploit the new goodies. If everybody was allied with everybody else (excluding imps and rebs likely) then that kinda defeats the purpose and we may as well just get some more skill based things.
