Thread: if new city has 10 people for say 3 days

So its properly formed then say2 quit the city does the city hall vanish or is it ok as long as theres been10 people for 24 hours to form the city.
sorry if its covered on faq its kind of important question due to nature of city hall vanishing and couldnt see it.

i believe it is 10 people minimum otherwise the city hall poofs at the next update

Not sure I totally understand your question, but I'll try and answer it anyways. 
After you place your City Hall, you have 24 hours to get 10 citizens, or it vanishes.
If you have the 10 citizens WHEN the 24 check takes place, you should be good to go - officially "established" as a city, and your weekly cycle begins.
During the weekly cycle, you can fluctuate in number and have no effect oh the city.
However, the number you have when the next City update happens (approximately 7 days from when you passed the 24 hour check) is the important thing.
If you have enough citizens to grow to the next level at that time, you will grow. (Provided the planet you are on is not capped for the size you're trying to grow to.)
If you have less than 10 citizens at that time.. You're likely in danger of losing your City Hall.

Hi i think you might of answered it, but below is why im asking.
As only a small guild we would like to make a city so ive read up what i can and saw it say we need 10 people to set up a city within 24 hours. i know 2 people who are only currently set for 3 months in the game and not sure what they will do later, so if say in 3 months we still only the original 10 and 2 quit would city fold on the next check.

nah you need 10 in 24 hours to justify the hall and 5 onwards to keep it in place.

i think 5 was the original number when they published the cities first time but now it is definitly 10

Originally outpots were 5. That was changed very early on. You have to keep 10 people in your city or you will lose it at the next update.

if i were you, i would just make sure you have 10+ people in the city at each update so you dont risk losing your city hall

needing 10 after the 24 hours? Sounds like something we should test out on the testcenter. My city I started with 49 cit'z when I inherited the land and am at like 107 people soo I just never had the problem. I just sorta trust what is said in allt he documents relating to it is true.
The guild hall needs 5 to create.

yer guild is 5 people at end of the week and is fine for ever after that. its if we made city is problem at moment its not problem if its 10 people for 24hrs but if someone quit or couple did later on is issue.

All the documentation I read says that it's 5 once the hall has been up for 24 hours. Luckily no one reads documentation so it doesn't matter.
