Hey all,
I have a feeling our city hall is going to go poof since the guy that placed it hasn't played for a long while. We do have a mayor that plays still, but I still dont know if it will go poof with the purge. So what exactly happens if it foes poof, besides losing the city.

Also if it does go poof, what happens to the stuff in my safety deposite box?

stuff in your safety deposit box is linked to the planetary bank, not the terminal, so it won't disappear.

as for the city going poof... any civic structures and decorations (stuff that the maintainance comes from the treasury) will be destroyed. anything player-owned won't.

Saweeeet...thanks for the info...I've informed my mayor. One more thing, does city hall take up lots?

nope, nor do the other civic structures.

as long as there is money in the treasury, the city will stay unless the mayor cancelled his account. if he deletes his char first, then it poofs immediately. otherwise, it poofs when the database cleans him up.

the inactivity rule isn't in the game atm, so as long as he's subscripted and your city is paid up you're fine. however, if you guys want to vote in someone more active, there are some new changes that makes it easier.
