Thread: Ideas for the Politician Profession Please read and share your ideas with the community... Thx
- More player citys
- More PVP
- More PVE
- More GCW
- Less frustrated players that quit the game
Or just imagine if a current politician plans on going jedi ? He could never reach the rank of a Jedi Knight b/c his politician profession takes up to many SPs.
Please tell me what you think or if this discussion is already running in another thread....
plus i aswell think this could be an idea for merchant too as those are PASSIVE professions and not entertaining at all except if you sell a droid batterie for 9999999 lol

Indeed, cities are in need of some better decoration to keep them interesting. Even useless structures such as archways, more streetlight styles, tatooine towers, and npc apartment structures. As well we need to be able to place more decorations in a city, especially for a sprawling metropolis. Hospitals have no purpose right now. They need to be given an impressive bonus for their usage to encourage people to use them. Shuttleports are a big thing to me on changes for a metropolis. I always believed you should be able to have either two of them for a metro, or a large version that acts as a spaceport (JTL terminal).
To create and lead a city you have to spend many time and your skill points and you think about wasting or spending your points for this profession very carefully. If you dont need to spend SPs every guy can test to have a city if he finds enough people to help him with it. In my imagination this would lead to an explosion of cities for some weeks. Maybe some people find this very enjoyable but I wouldn't like this much.
What about a modifier on the Master Politician box for less city maintenance, like the merchant modifier for house maintenance...

Although, that might be a point for SOE NOT to impliment this

To solo some kind of dungeon is no reason to give us politicians our SP back. Its more a reason to change the combat system that its not possible to solo it with any kind of template, but thats my point of view.

Anyway, for what the heck a mayor needs a few millions? I have enough money and I don't know what to do with. Normally I fund the city with it. I don't need to buy any weapons or something else. Maybe decoration for the town hall, but what else?
MorvekKrovar wrote:i dont know a mayor that can share the fun of killing the Canyon Corsair Stronghold without any armor at the morning and crafting 950 powerbuffpacks in the evening........and why ? because they dont have enough skill points to pick up the professions they prolly want to try ...plus what if you plan on going jedi...i doubt that you got the 230 sps to start the knight trials if your a mayor...
When you want to become a Jedi you should think about dropping your mayor being. Being mayor is not a profession you should do in a secondary way, its a main profession and if you have problems that you have to waste so many points, make something else. Everyone is free to decide.
And sorry that its again me who is posting his opinion...
