I hope this makes sense. As I Am alittle worried.

I did ask greenmarine to have the city send out emails whenever someone registers and withdraws, and that's exactly what happens. we tested it the other day on my city.

p.s.: this is also why there is a 1 week wait between end of candidate registry and end of voting cycle. this week is pure voting and no candidacy changes.

Each person who desires to run for the election must register, the second you register for the election all declared residents of the city receive an email that shows your name. Since there is a 3 week cycle and all persons running in the election must be registered by the end of week 2 of the cycle there is protection built in for hostile takeovers.
