I'm aware of a bug where, if a new mayor was elected, the city reverted to a village and everyone had to start again. We've worked hard to get to metro and now wish to replace our absentee mayor but we're worried we'll be reverted to a village, as some have had happen. Can anyone confirm, for sure, that this won't happen?
Oh and yes, please do something about taxes! I pay 1 mil a week to the city kitty, even though we have tons of very popular vendors. We need the sales tax to go to the city! Our current cost is 870k/week.
Thanks in advance

Hey
I just took over Serenity, Naboo on Kettemoor. No loss in level, no losses at all. As far as the city is concerned, nothing changed!

I took over our city a year ago the week after it became metropolis & had no issues....and then on another server, my friend took over a smaller city that was a village I believe & we didn't lose rank. Good luck

Would a city revert if the politician newly elected has less skills than the ex-mayor? (IE a novice politcian is elected, and the old mayor was 1-2-2-1 )

Nope....only thing would be that the novice politician couldn't place anything new until they had the skills
