Thread: Milita Cant drop homes or give rights
And to my knowledge all militia can do is grant zoning rights, they do not have the rights to set a house anytime like the mayor can. So another militia member would need to grant this militia person rights if they wanted to place the structure for another person.

There is a bug that cant bbe traced where people get dropped from the militia so check that
Also are they trying to grant rights to themselves to drop a home? Because militia cannot do that

Sounds like you don't have zoning turned on for your city, Maketas. /grantzoningrights is only needed in city limits where zoning has been turned on by the mayor.
Jexi, if the militia members are showing on the terminal and they still can't /grantzoningrights to other players while outside in the city limits the zoning for your city may be bugged. Maybe try removing one of the people from the militia, readding them, and try again. If that doesn't work, a CSR ticket is probably the only other thing you can do. They should be able to tell you what the problem is and fix it for you.

Well my alt is the mayor and I am in the militia and I cannot drop houses until I get myself rights granted. I cannot grant myself rights so I dont know how your militia can unless you havse zoning off.
I have to deal with this every day, granting myself rights via my alt so I dont have to log in my alt everytime someone needs a house dropped.
Tried the remove and re add them to list with no change. Will submit a bug ticket and see what happens. Just wanting to make sure i tried everything first.
