I did finally get voted in as Mayor.

However, I am neutrally aligned and 3 citzens left because I am nuetral. Since the city is rebel/neutral, do you think it would be wise ifI were to become a rebel myself? The 2 trees in politician I am going up are fiscal and militia.

Does the mayor need to be declared for the militia to function?

thanks,

Your personal alignment really doesn't matter. Sounds like you just had a mass exodus; the alignment is just an excuse. The only thing that seems to matter about mayoral alignment is garden labeling (it will say "faction-cityname") and if you're multitasking, being able to have factional registration at a cantina (it seems that placing a cantina as a faction member limits registration there to that particular faction, no matter what the city's "persuasion").

Sorry to hear your people aren't more loyal.

Only 3 citizensleft... all of the same PA.

I had trouble with this particular PAeven beforebeing voted in as Mayor. I think some people don't like change. Though most of the citizens seem to be happy and supportive. But in this day and age, even 3 people leaving istoo many. I have some plans for the city, so I guess time will tell if I can be successful or not.

For your sake, I hope you have another 7 that join by next week.. (next update) .. or you will find yourself without a town to be Mayor of.

Good luck..

Newton13 I think he meant only 3 people left the city, not 3 people ARE left in the city

You don't need to be declared for the Militia stuff to work. But with /citywarn removed, the only thing the Militia is good for is granting people zoning rights.

Of course, there's the lovely bug that prevents Militia members from having zoning rights themselves, but that's a different story.
