No there is not. It is something that the Devs may or may not eventually add. I know there are many others like you who are hoping for such a feature.

Your best course of action right now is to start sending emails to all your citizens, letting them know you are interested in stepping down and that someone needs to run against you and that all the citizens need to vote for him/her within a single week.

Hello OaDenn,

The pac of Elysium, Corellia on Starsider is in the same bind. But, they've had it worse trying now for nearly 6 weeks to elect a new mayor. CSR have stated they can't help out, so basically they are two ways to work around that.

One is to ask as many of those that are active and will help out to place a small house in the pac. In hopes to out vote the mayor and all those sleeper votes s/he keeps getting.

Two, is to pack up all the pac structures by redeeding them. Then redeed the city hall, which you will lose entirely. (unless that rule has changed?) Then plant a new city hall deed with the new mayor, and start from scratch the hard way.

Right, now Elysium is going for method #1, but if it continues to drag out. Without Dev intervention of creating a way for a mayor to revoke their duties. Then if no more sleeper citizens return to recast their votes, there's little choice by taking extreme measures in method #2. (if the pac doesn't collapse by that time already)

We have been trying now for 2 months to have me replaced and its not the easiest thing in the world to do, not by a long shot. Our current attempt is succeeding better than our previous attempts but I still look like winning by half a dozen votes.

It's a problem all right and one that will not go away lightly - but as its "by design", I guess its just one of those annoying ingame things youhave to live with as best you can (like shuttle wait times, etc).

I don't understand option one... could you explain it a little further...? Most of my citizens already have more than one house in the city, some of us have several but we can only have one declared residence... how can placing an additional house help with this problem...?

Edit: Corrected a typo

We did it the hard way in Mos Arcus , Tatooine on K'moor.

We voted.

Took two weeks, but it worked.

Good luck.
