Greetings to all Politicians and players here.

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Tsotha Lanti and I have been recently elected as Mayor of Ciudad Hispania (three clicks from the Imperial Outpost in Dantooine, heading west - waypoing -7275, -1148) in the Chimaera-European Galaxy. The city has been there for a while, but the mayor that was there quit playing the game and left a mess we are still trying to sort out.

I am currently Novice Politician (0-2-0-0), so I have just had the chance to add a Clone Center and manage the Militia but, as weeks pass, I hope I will be able to turn the city into what all its citizens want it to be.

We are a Spanish community, although we would be more than proud to receive players from other countries. We currently have 45 citizens, but haven't had the chance to register the city. Any Spanish players playing in Chimaera that would like to join our community, just contact Tsotha, Memeo or Quijar.

I have been reading a few dozens of posts in the board and I definitely agree that NPCs, more structures, etc. would bring very good roleplaying elements to cities. I am relatively new to the game, so I am sure there are many things that I am missing but, anyway, I would like to support any initiatives that increase the amount of life mayors could bring to their cities.

The thing is that I miss roleplaying elements a lot. I mean, apart from the ones related to combat. I hope I am wrong (just to new to the game) but, what can you do if you are a Politician or a Jedi (I am no Jedi at present time)? What roleplaying "quests" are available for Politicians (or similar) at the time being, apart from setting structures up in your city? I would like to see Politicians (and Jedi) involved in the game as, for instance, Lando does in the Episode V, when he has to "deal" with the Empire (let's call them NPCs here by now) to save the city he rules, or as Padme does in Episode I with the Federation. I understand this is not easy to code (much AI), but let's say I don't wish to pay 15$ + VAT just to kill Stormtroopers... :-P

Otherwise, this is just a profession that someone has to pick in order to keep a city running. Anyway, I'll keep on reading old posts and see if there is something related to this that I am missing, since this is probably not the right post (or maybe yes, why not :-) ).

Finally, if you have any good advices for a rookie mayor, they would be greatly appreciated. I will be following this message board as much as I can.

Hey thsi is pretty cool. I rarely come across very many players who speak spanish on my server and much less a city for them and by them.

Good Luck to you guys. Perhaps i will make a toon on Chimera just so that i can chill and RP in spanish. Do you guys have a faction bias?
