just got this (Pappi-modified for clarity) quote from TH to share with you all:
City Shuttleport Costs
I'll post again when I get more info on it. I'm assuming this means we can set our shuttle tax to 0 after the fix without messing up the shuttleport, but "fix" your shuttleport for now by adding (a small amount of) tax.
as for folks who are concerned with the following issues:
shipwright trainer: been submitted to Tiggs a while back, and also currently being piggybacked on another random thread I posted on the corr forum
if they still don't have it by the time they have the shipwright forum, feel free to bring it up over there too.
top 5: our top 5 hasn't changed much, except now we have garages. I'll be fixing that up and submitting it to the devs when time frees up (which hopefully means before dec.
) I *did* mention to the devs that our old top 5 is a good place to gather info if I can't turn in my new one on time, so we're covered
our old top 5 can be found at the top sticky.
sales tax bug: no news. I guess it's not something they can whip up a fix for quickly.
combat sandbox: no news yet. yes, I had my top 5 picked. no, these 5 are not guaranteed to be in the sandbox. no, we probably won't get any news on it until all this JTL stuff passes.
FAQ: I started one a while back, but didn't have time to finish. there are folks that want to help me with this, and kudos to them
feel free to post any questions you guys think should be in the FAQ there too. as for the inaccurate info on the SOE page, help me bug them and get it changed
edit: got an ok to post the other new stuff, but didn't want to start a new thread:
PA halls are updated so each only take 7 lots regardless of style. "Once you go through a maintenance cycle, your lot count should be back to 7 lots." - TH
structure factories are down from 2 lots to 1.
City Shuttleport Costs
- If you set the shuttle tax at 0, it disables the Shuttleport. DON’T put it at zero. Turn it back on by adding a value, then check your status – if no droid or terminal, then it is set to zero. This will be fixed soon. Maybe Tuesday.

Replace the garage from our top five with politician-specific limos! Or at least drivers for our exisiting landspeeders and AV-21s!
We demand fluff!

i agree. there are 2 seats in my AV-21, and in my Flash Speeder i'll be getting on the 27th. i want a droid with a funny hat to drive me around in my speeders.

I think more decorations for cities would be pretty important, such as the Tatooine sand-design towers (example, planet Lok,Nym's Stronghold). Cities are just too bland and look too much alike at this time to be any interesting. As much as mayors try to come up with good layouts and locations, cities are just too plain right now to be anything more then a 'collection of houses with a few gardens'.

I agree - more decor should be allowed, and more decor should be available. And it should cost less. Or at least adjust costs based on what it is. A huge ornate garden and a streetlamp cost the same per week, 1500 credits... that's just wrong.

The lot thing worked like a charm BTW.
I dropped a few credits into our NabooPA Hall, and *poof!* I magically got back two free lots! Yay!

hmm ... my small gardens cost 10k, medium 20k and large 30k /week ... or what isyour "ornate garden"?
I agree on the "more decor" part, of course ![]()

I thought all decor cost 1500/week no matter what it was. Was not aware of different cost on gardens but I guess I can check it out. By "Ornate" gardens, I was just talking about those specialized gardens like the Dantooine meditative garden or the Dathomir one, or any of the other interesting gardens.
So... is street paving on our top 5 list of things we want? OR the ability to level ground? OR the ability to move a house and its contents to a new location (to keep the city organized)?

Terraforming is definately on my top 5 list. If not full-fledged terraforming, then bridges, streets, etc.

Sooo much possibility for griefing from the scorched earth mayors (we still have them) that it likely won't happen. Besides if you have your house layed out just so do you really want to spend another couple hours redoing it because the mayor decided to put you somplace else without asking? Heh although I'm sure my citizens would prefer it to me constantly being a thorn in their side over the urban plan. Now that I've got the 2 free lots I may be more help though.
