Thread: a whole new level of grief........
ok.. so.. let see what people can do.....
We got cities cap raise.. yay!! a lot more people can start new cities.. woo!!
City cap on 3 and 4 tier... oo!!! this is going to be interesting...
Lets bring a good scenario.. (this could happen)
first 10 cities are establish... cool. goto to level 5.. and have over 100 citizens... that means they will hardly fall unless suddenly lose 16 citizens to level 4... and another 30 to level 3... that is 46 citizens.. kinda hard for that to happen... what if...
the 11th city goes upto 3.. but can't advance... and wait.. but no luck.. the original 10 stays.. they get a new politician to plant themselves in a city.. be a good member (pretend to be social and such) and work their way to get voted in office (it can happen) and then... time with their friend.. destory the hall before the next update so the 11th city can upgrade to level 4....
I know this may sound farfetch.. but think about it... it can happen.. there are people in the real world who plan things months or even year in advance to get their own ways (and goals) what would prevent people from doing that in game???
Personally.. the main fail safe would be the city hall can ONLY be destroy if the citizens votes for it... this way.. even a "plant" mayor can't destroy it and would need to convince (say 80% out of 100) 80 people to join their cause and destroy their hall.... sure the mayor can destroy everything else (cloning center, shuttle, bank, fountains, light and any other civic structures) but not the hall.. that way the city continue to stay and can vote out the "plant" mayor out. ![]()
more importantly... why add more guild havens.. errr cities... if it comes at the cost of nerfing the originals...
I personally have worked very hard to make the city I manage something at least nice for our citizenry and our visitors alike to bestow their eyes upon... now I find I have to lose all my streetlights most of my statues, skill trainers and mission terminals...
yay I get a shuttle and a cloning center... woopie, great I have nothing left in the city for anyone outside of the people that live there to bring them in... how wonderfull
I honestly think the original 10 cities was more than enough... clutering the world maps... an the 25 on the others was way too much.
at least remove these ridiculous virtual caps on the cities... if it doesn't start as a deed it shouldn't count towards the civic "structure" cap. lights and statues and terminals and trainers specifically should not be counted towards the new virtual structure caps

Sort of reminds me of our current politics.
Yes that can happen, betterbe careful who you vote for mayor.
I agree Havoclord.. it is hard.. our level IV city have a single mayor.. no challengers.. and if there was.. we would still vote for our mayor
but... there is a chance (small it might be) that a player who might make themselves "upstanding" and just in it to destroy...
scary I thought about this.. but I remember my Criminology Class.. sometimes you have to think like one to catch one... but sometimes it is hard to figure out why they think the way they do...
Also.. due to recent events (like lately I been reading) some mayor panic being voted out (but was good friend.. had good graces with everyone.. just people feel he/she didn't do a good job and need replace) and destroy the city hall in the last minute....
it can happen.. it have happen.. and it will happen again.. ![]()
