Thread: Structure Management Terminal
The Structure Management Terminal on my City Hall only shows 'Examine' and 'Destroy Structure' as the only available options.
I have paid money into the treasury, but on themaintainance report, the hall maintainance of 35000 is showing in red (I have 435k in the treasury. 35k of this paid in using /paymaint, lands in treasury)).
As the treasury has the money to pay the maintainance, does it need to be moved elsewhere?
This is the only red item on my reports, as Ihave fulfilled the other criteria.
Your help is appreciated
From what I understand, on 'Election Day' the city is susposed to deduct it's expenses from the treasury, including City Hall maint.

Thanks, that was my understanding of it too. The red worries me somewhat, so I guess I'd better log it in my CSR ticket.
Dropping the Hall yesterday was a milestone is what is now 3 months of work. I guess I have 2 more hours to wait (end first 24) to find out if we get destroyed by a bug...
Well, just received a system email stating that our City has been approved. 41 mins until end of first 24 hours (6 days 41 minsremaining until city update). We'll see what happens...
Seemsodd, as I dropped it over 25 hours ago
at the weekly city update, the cost of maintenance will be deducted from your treasury. That's the only place City money goes. I'm not sure why the cost shows in red - it does for us and has since day one so I'm guessing this is normal. we have had over 2 million credits in our treasury, our costs are around 75k and it still shows red.
Maintenance for the city hall and all other civic structures is pulled directly from the city treasury....
you cannot pay maintenance directly into these buildings and gardens and banks and whatnot
all civic structures will only have those choices on their maintenance terminal... these buildings do not follow the same rules as player owned buildings... because they are not player owned... the city owns them.
two things to look out for... never let you citizenry drop below ten and make sure that at the end of your cycle BEFORE the election that there is more in the treasury than comes up in red on the maintenance report.
It is red to call attention not because something is wrong
