Thread: Mayor and resigning...

Our player city has recently had our Mayor resign. We had an election for with 2 other candidates, but our original Mayor still appears on the ballot as [incumbent] even though he's dropped all Politician skills. Does anyone know how to remove the former mayor from the list so we can elect a new one? Also, due to inactivity of some players, the new mayors aren't getting enough votes to oust the incumbent.

The mayor cannot be removed from the ballot as it seems dropping politician skills doesn't remove you as mayor and there is no way to resign. The incumbent MUST be outvoted. I was just recently outvoted and it took a few days and a bit of effort to get the new mayor 50+% of the vote.
