Hello all,
YesterdayI placed fountains in our city on Dantooine, Lowca. For some reason the fountains do not work. I waited until today thinking that maybe the darn things just needed the server reset but that didn't work either. Anyone else have this problem? These are not placed inside of structures. I tried that too.

what type of fountain? One variety of fountain is a "still" type.. and doesn't spout water.

Its the small round one (brick style). I think that's the reason. We put down a larger white colored one and it works. Thanks

I know which one you are talking about, it is suppose to have a "splashing" effect. I know that after you first place it there is no effect because you have to walk away to unload it then walk back to load it again to get it to work. But you have logged off and back on so you should have seen it. Does anyone else see the water effect? Do you have particle effects turned up in your options? You should see an effect, why you don't is beyond me, if those two are not the case.

No it's wierd. I checked with other residents of the city and they couldn't see it either. We thought it might be due to the fact that our city bugs out a lot Fountain just has water in the base. Nothing else happens.

On the bottom of this page you can see all the possible fountains ... the normal "Fountain" is indeed ment to be a "lifeless" pool of water. It also has this kind of "old" fealing to it if you look at the difference in colors.

that fountain is alive in perm cities but for PC's its a lifeless one, i think it also gets some animations as part of a naboo garden though...

I went to the page and yes, we placed the lifeless ones. Too bad they don't have a "older" style fountain available that actually spouts water. Thanks for all the help!
